2025 AfroBasket: D’Tigress set to maintain perfect run

Nigeria’s D’Tigress are poised to continue their record-breaking run as they face Mozambique today, Monday at the 2025 Women’s AfroBasket.

The defending champions crushed Rwanda 92-45 in their opening game, with Victoria Macaulay contributing 13 points and 5 assists. Another win will secure their spot in the quarterfinals.

Other matches will witness, Uganda plays Senegal (1pm, Group C), Angola faces hosts Ivory Coast (6pm, Group A), and Mali takes on Cameroon (10pm, Group B).

Victories for Senegal, Mali, or Ivory Coast would book quarterfinal tickets. The Ivoirians will look to Laeticia Sahie, who scored 23 points in their 75-63 win over Egypt.
