The Yaba Technology Student Union Government (YASUG) league is heating up, and the upcoming match between School of Management and Business Studies (SMBS) and School of Technology promises to be a thrilling encounter.
After a couple of wins, SMBS has climbed to third position on the log ladder and is determined to maintain its winning streak.
Their player, Opeyemi Alagbala, is on a mission, having scored four goals so far. He’s confident that SMBS will emerge victorious, saying, “We are hoping to defeat them so we can go ahead of them in the league.”
Alagbala reflected on their previous win, highlighting the team’s growth and lessons learned.
“The match meant a lot to me. It was more than just a win. It was a reminder that all our sleepless nights, formation, and doubts were worth it.”
School of Technology, currently in second position after falling from the top spot, will likely put up a strong fight to reclaim their position.
The match is set to take place on Wednesday, June 25.
