Sportxvibe Holds 1-Day Social Media Training For Young Sportsmen, women

A trans-generational sports media outfit, Sportxvibe has held it maiden one day social media training for young sportsmen and women on how to leverage on the use of the social media to brand themselves.

The training which was a virtual class, had in attendance budding young sportsmen and women.

The facilitator of the training, Dotun Omisakin opened the eyes of participants on how they can gain visibility and positioned themselves with the proper use of social media, urging them to see themselves as a brand.

“You are a brand, it is high time you started seeing yourselves as a brand.” He said.

He tutored them on how to create contents from their different field of endeavor, saying their actions both on pitch and off-pitch could be use as contents that help them gain and increase engagement on their social media platforms.

“Contents and social media go hand and hand, so you must make sure you develop contents which could video, text, images,and audio that are relevant to your field.” He said.

Giving feedback of the class, one of the participants, Ogundele Olasubomi who is the captain of a grass root football club in Lagos, Alimosho FC Ladies remarked that the training was insightful.

“It was an eye-opener for me.” She said.
