NLO: Ogun Based Club Ajebo Fc Raise Hope to Debut, Seek Sponsors

A newly established football club Ajebo FC have called on sponsors to support the club as they prepare to join the fray in the Nigeria’s third division league, Nationwide League One (One) billed to kick off in March, 2022.

Ajebo Fc named after a community in Ogun state was launched as a professional club in 2021 by the state’ FA chairman Ganiyu Majekodunmi and the club’s President Mr. Chidi Ijere Daniel at the ultramodern stadium of McPherson University, Ajebo, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state.

In preparation to debut in the league, the Ogun state-based club’s media officer James Omobhude in a chat with sportxvibe.com.ng revealed that the financial commitment to meet the demands to participate in the league has been the snarl the club seek to address, adding that N160, 000 would be needed to per week to foot bills of each match.

“The community are not financially buoyant to that N160,000, is a small community, is something that we could see, if we could raise only N50,000 and see sponsor that could be financing for N100,000 every week.” He said.

However, he assured that the club would proffer solutions to meet the league’s demand and secure their participation in the league.

“We will get, we will try and get one.” He said
