Nigeria’s youngster tennis player Adesewa Olaniyan has expressed readiness ahead of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior competition, J30, billed to serve off in June, 2024.
Olaniyan who spoke with sportsvibe.com.ng, described the competition which will be held in four Africa countries including Nigeria, Angola, Ghana and Cameroon as a platform to showcase her talents and make her country proud.
“I play Tennis not just for recreational purposes but to put Nigeria on the global map.I am going for this competition so as to gain more experience and points in the game of tennis,” she said.
She however said that funds play a pivotal role for her to achieve her dreams, calling for support from corporate and individual sponsors.
“I am looking for both corporate and individual sponsorship so as to fund my games, so I will be able to achieve my aim in the game of Tennis,” she said.

J30 Abuja (Nigeria) June 2024.
J30 Luanda (Angola) July 2024.
J30 Accra (Ghana) September 2024.
J30 Douala (Cameroon) October 2024.

Quarter finalist at the last Adewale Issa Tennis Championship.
She was at the ITF J30 in Abuja in 2023.
