Multi-choice Nig. Boss Felix Awogu advises NUC to balance academic curricula for students participation in collegiate game

Executive Head, Multi-choice Nigeria Mr. Felix Awogu has called on the National Universities Commission (N.U.C) to restructure it curriculum for more participation of students in collegiate sports.
Awogu stated this while he was fielding answers to a question asked by one of the participants of the Higher Institution Football League (HiFL) masterclass, adding that the body saddled with academic responsiblity has to ensure that students especially medical students participate in collegiate sports.
“We need to sit down, restructure our curricula and make it work.” He said.
The Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U) alumnus who was guest at the masterclass held on online addressed the topic: ‘Sports as tool for social change and youth empowerment’.
He stressed that collegiate sports help students to change mental state and focus on their academic when they marry both together.
He applauded HIFL for their impact to collegiate game in Nigeria.
