LASUSTECH Tennis Club Kids Set To Compete As Azimith Tennis championship Serves Off Monday

Junior players of the Lagos State University of Technology, LASUSTECH Tennis Club have expressed their readiness to participate at the Azimuth Tennis championship billed to hold on Monday, 16th January at the the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club,

The LASUSTECH Tennis Junior team will be led by sensational youngster Olaniyan Adesewa who is the current champion of the 4th Tennis Players Parents Association,TPPA Junior Tennis championship a Universal Tennis Ratings, UTR rating tournament.

Also, another youngster Ogunkolade Bisola who is ranked number three in the same category will participate in the tourney.

Ahead of the tournament, the new club’s captain Alhaji Olawepo Gafar expressed optimism, saying that the players have gone through the required training.

“We have been in training for a while now and we hope to do our best when we get there. Other talents in the team are DAWUD Trust, Majekodunmi OLUWASEMILORE and Ogunkolade Korede. ” Its a new dawn and I’ll also like to build on what my predecessor started.” He said.

The competition is expected to feature junior players from all over Nigeria and its expected to help reveal new talents into the Tennis circuit in Nigeria.
