I am presently working on my dream to become a professional footballer says 11-years old Wonderkid Solanke

His moves, touches and sense of goal scoring on the field of play captures and speak volume of a promising talented aged 11-years footballer Patrick Solanke whose footballing artistries shine among and even above his peers.

This was obvious during one of his match involving hefty and full ‘chested’ men in the just concluded Magodo SouthWest Zone Residents football match played at Supreme School stadium in Lagos where the Junior Secondary Student (JSS III) registered his name among the goal scorers after he roofed the ball into the net.

Although, his talented could be believed to be inherited because the Solankes’ are passionate about developing and nurturing teeming footballers but the young chap in a chat said he is assiduously putting effort to make his dream come of being a professional footballer.

He added that he want to play in Europe.

“Yes, I have dream of becoming a footballer, I am presently working my dream to become a professional footballer in an academy called FC Provazios Euro and I am planning in playing in Europe.” He said.

When asked who his is role model, the fair in complexion lad listed two of his favorites which include Brazilian legend  Ronaldo Nazario and Argentine forward Paulo Dybala, adding that his best player playing in the club that ply their trade in the English Premier League Manchester United which he support is Mason Greenwood.

“I have different football star who are Ronaldo Nazario and Paulo Dybala. I am a Manchester United fan. My best player in Manchester United is Mason Greenwood. I like him because of his shooting ability. He scores with his left and his right foot.” He said.

Speaking about the match that he played, he stressed:  “It was very nice and very entertaining; I got to meet with a lot of people. It got me engaged in the aspect of football. It makes me feel athletic again. I came today to play a very good match and that is what it turned out to be.”

“I planned to score, trying to help my team get ahead but the goal only could be an equalizer.” He said.
