It was a display of strength and unearthing of innate sporting prowess for students who participated at the just concluded 7th Biennial Inter House Sports Competition organised by Excellent Foundation College.
Some of the students, having gone through different sports were enveloped with joy as they received their medals.
The much anticipated showpiece held at Agege stadium witnessed match pass by the four houses and final track and field events of 100M, 200M for both boys and girl at junior and senior level while 400 M was participated by senior only.
Other include Sack race, spoon and egg race and relay race which entertained parents who cheered up their children.
Participants of the four houses which were; Yellow, Blue, Red and Blue had played each other in indoor games such as Whot, Ludo, Skipping, Table tennis.
Other sports that were concluded before the inter house proper included Shot put, Javelin, Discus, Long jump and football match. These were held at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba.
The grass was green for the house cladded with green color as it emerged as the winner while Blue house took second and Yellow house finished third.
Dignitaries present were Very Reverend M.I.T Boro who was the chairman, Sir. Abidoun Ogunkoya, Engr. Obed Tasieobi, Mr. Ndukwe Iheme; they were the father of the day.
Mothers of the Day were Col. Dr. U. I Aguiyi (Rtd), Lady Yejide Badejo and Mrs. Otems Odogwu.
Other were the school’s director Sir. Ogueri T. Onyeukwu; the Chairman, Parent Teacher Association, (PTA) Pastor Peter Aro; the principal, Mr. Samuel Omotayo and the school sports master Mr. Solomon Omoluabi.
