The Bayero University, Kano (BUK) female handball team continued their remarkable run at the 27th Nigerian Universities Games (NUGA 2025) in Jos, claiming a thrilling 5–4 victory over Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi.

This hard-fought win followed an impressive 6–6 draw with the host institution, the University of Jos (UNIJOS), in their opening match — a result that showcased BUK’s determination and competitive edge early in the tournament.

Under the strategic guidance of Coach Auwalu Yakubu Dankano, the BUK ladies displayed exceptional teamwork, discipline, and tactical awareness, sealing another memorable triumph in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

The victory drew loud cheers from BUK supporters, who praised the team’s resilience, fighting spirit, and commitment to excellence — qualities that have become hallmarks of Bayero University’s sports culture.
