A technological institute, Nupat technologies has organised its annual sports competitions in a bid to bolster unity and spark camaraderie among its students and alumni.
The one-day sports event saw a fair contest among the three institute’ branches in Lagos in different games including football, table tennis, table snooker, ludo, eliciting cheers and showcasing innate talents.
The football match saw teams from Lekki, Ikeja and Yaba jostled for the title, giving no breathing space among themselves. After the end of the football matches, no winner was announced, fostering the essence of the competition.
Commenting on the values of sports, the CEO, Nnamdi Ugwu stressed that the competition was not about who scored the most goals, but embracing the ethos of the institute that sporting activities help to foster bond and teamwork.
“The Nupat Games & Hangout is more than a fun day out. It’s a reflection of the values that define Nupat: collaboration, teamwork, and community building.
“It’s a chance to connect with fellow alumni, students, and staff in a relaxed setting, while fostering professional and personal relationships.
“At Nupat, we believe in the power of networking, and events like these provide the perfect space to forge new relationships. Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, the Hangout was a great reminder of the support and encouragement available within the Nupat family,” he said.
He added the organisation’s vision was centered at empowering individuals and businesses with the tools, skills, and support they need to thrive in the fast-paced world of technology.
