Remo Stars has won the 2022 edition of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL LA LIGA U-15 Promises Youth League.
The Sky Blues boys defeated their southwest counterpart Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC 2-0 to clinch the trophy at their home ground.
Remo Stars forward Arierih kparoboa who got the highest goal scorer with five goals, scored the goals both in the first and second half to hand his team the trophy.
Earlier before the match, Katsina United won 5-4 against Kano Pillars in a penalty shootout in the third-place match, thanks to their goalkeeper Abubakar Anas who saved a penalty kick and went forward to score the winning goal that decided his team’s victory.
Anas was awarded as the best goalkeeper while Remo Stars Ohaemesi Chigozie won the Most Valuable Player, MVP.
