2019 Lagos open: Ekiti win 5 golds in Junior level
Ekiti state players won five golds out of eight trophies to themselves in the Junior categories of the just concluded 2019 Lagos Open Tennis Championship which ended today at the Lagos Lawn Tennis.
In the finals for the Junior categories, six players from the state of fountain of knowledge featured in the finals both males and females.
This outstanding result placed Ekiti state has the state that won the highest number of golds in the competition.
Champions that emerged include Oluwaseyi Ogunsakin who won in the boys 10 and under.
Also, his elder brother Oluwaseun Ogunsakin defended the title he won last year in the boys 12 and under.
In the girls 12 and under, Success Ogunjobi is also a new champion while Esther Oni is emerged as the new champion in the girls 14 and
under.
Daniel Adeleye is also the new champion for the boys 16 and under while Faith Adeusi came 2nd in the girls 12 & under.
In all out of 8 trophies in the championship Ekiti got 5 golds and 1 sliver
