NPFL/LA LIGA U-15 Promises: 3SC Ajayi Samuel’s late goal Against Katsina United Earns Quarter-final spot, #50,000 cash Promise

Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC player Ajayi Samuel’s late strike against Katsina United that ended in a 1-1 draw has qualified the club to the next ground- quarterfinal and would also earn the lads a #50,000 promise.

The cash promise, according to the excited chap motivated them to put their all to ensure they finish top on the log in the group B, saying that he had to put his fight to get the goal scored at the death of the full time.

“They have told us that if we win today’s match, we will get #50,000 but we make sure when they score us that we must draw for us to come first in the group. It is by grace. It is for the whole team.” He said.

In the hard-fought against the defending champion on the matchday 6 of the ongoing NPFL/LA LIGA U-15 Promises Youth League held in Ikenne, Samuel a Senior Secondary School, SS2 Student of Community Grammar School in Ibadan alluded that the match was not a stroll in a park for the Oluyole boys.

“I don’t know that I will score today, the ball is too hard but I swear to God that I must goal today.” He said.

The Oluyole boys finished with 4 points, the same point as Katsina United but top the group with 6 goals difference drawing from a 7-1 win against Enyimba International.

In group B, Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC finished at the top of the group with 4points, the same as Katsina United, both have qualified for the next round while Enyimba International finished at the bottom of the log with no points. There were three teams in the group.
