As the curtain of some of the group matches of the ongoing 2023 Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL/Laliga U-15 Promise Youth League closes on Wednesday, six teams out of the sixteens have kissed the exit door.
The teams namely; Bendel Insurance, Lobi Stars, Doma United, Wikki Tourists, Bendel Insurance, Rangers International and Gombe United have bid farewell to this year’s edition.
Lobi Stars finished at the bottom of Group A without a point to call a season while Bendel Insurance ended their stint this season with 2 points at the bottom of the log in Group C. Also Wikki Tourist ‘tourism’ was called for expiration after finishing above Bendel Insurance in the same Group C.
Doma United in Group B joined the teams that finished at the bottom of the log while Rangers International and Gombe United in Group D could not garnered the needed point to remain in the competition.
